Fiskars Fingertip Craft Knife

Posted on 28 September 2008 by admin

Diane von Kesmark reviews a handy little craft knife from Fiskars.

If like me, you have trouble using a craft knife, then this little tool could well be the answer.

The Finger Tip knife looks a bit like one half of a pair of scissors. Your forefinger goes through the one and only loop, and you apply pressure on the shaft that holds the blade, just as you would when writing with a pencil.

It comes with a blade-protector so that you can carry the knife in your craft tote with no risk of damage, and a spare blade is also supplied.

At a R.R.P of £2.99 this is a real bargain. I have bought 4 as presents for friends who have difficulties using a knife due to arthritis etc.

This looks a brilliant little tool…looks very easy to use and I like the idea of the cover on the blade for simplicity of carrying it should yo need to. :)

I got one when they were first launched. It is brilliant you have loads more control of what you are cutting. On the downside though I’ve had trouble finding spare blades - any ideas anyone?
