Fiona Haigh-Gannon shows us how to alter an unassuming lunch tin into a stunning work of art!

Step 1 - Measure your tin and cut out sheets of patterned paper to fit the front, back and sides.

Step 2 - Apply Mod Podge to the sheets of paper and adhere them to the tin. Smooth over the top of the paper with a scrunched up tissue to prevent bubbles forming.

Step 3 - Use a Cricut or other die cutting machine to cut out the required letters for your tin. Use the Shadow Feature on the machine to create a backing layer for each letter too.

Use a glue pen to attach each letter to its shadow layer.

Step 4 - Stamp out an image in Jet Black StazOn and colour using Twinkling H20’s or water colour pencils/ pens. Using colours that match the patterned paper on your tin will help to give your tin a coordinated look.

Step 5 - Arrange the letters, stamped image and embellisments onto the front of the tin.

Step 6 - Tie co-ordinating ribbons and fibres around the handle and add a little accent like flower and gem on the top to finish.
