Doodle Border Card

Posted on 24 October 2008 by Tracey Grundy

Why just restrict doodling to alphabets or swirls when you can create your own unique borders on your cards or craft projects?  Tracey Grundy shows us how you can add that ‘attention to detail’ that some cards deserve!

Select your patterned paper and adhere to your card front. Then draw a line border at the edge of the paper and the edge of the card.

Draw varied sizes of blocks and fill in each alternating block with a black pen .

Using varying shades of pink Sakura pens colour in some of the white areas. Use the same pens to add patterns to the black and white areas and black and white pens for the white and black/pink areas.

When you finish off the card with the sentiment etc., the doodled border really sets the card off and it is well and truly ‘one of a kind’!
