Posted on 21 October 2008 by Jayne Loughlin
Do you struggle with Scrapbooking or have you never tried it? Jayne Loughlin shows us a quick, step-by-step guide on creating a really simple layout to give you a helping hand!
You will need:
• Paper cutter or scissors
• Glue
• 1 plain white 12×12” cardstock
• 3 pieces of Patterned paper
• 1 large blossom
• 2 chipboard letters
• Ink
• Journalling pen
• Buttons

STEP 1 - Cut 3 pieces of Patterned Paper A= 12.5 x 23.5cms B= 20.5 x 13cms C= 19 x 13cms then ink the edges if required. Stick pieces ‘A’ & ‘B’ onto plain white cardstock as shown.

STEP 2 - Next glue piece ‘C’ down on top of the other two pieces as shown. Glue your 6” x 4” (approx. 15cm x 10cm) photo onto the middle of this piece.

STEP 3 - Cut 4 strips of white card approx 1 ¼ cm wide. Journal onto the strips , trim to size and ink all round the edges. Stick onto the L/O where shown.

STEP 4 - Next glue the large flower on pattern piece ‘A’. Arrange and stick the Chipboard letters onto the flower.

Draw a squiggly arrow on to white paper and cut it out. Ink the edges and stick under the flower petals pointing to the photo. Glue a few random buttons in the bottom left corner.
