Mothers Day Inspiration
Posted on 17 March 2009 by admin
As Mothers Day is almost upon us our Design Team have put together some great examples to inspire you.
Debbie Moore has used flowers and texture in this gorgeous embossed card.
Another card from Debbie has a pink colour scheme.
For the next two cards Fiona Haigh-Gannon has used a similar design and the same stamped images with different colour schemes.
This first card has a yellow and green colour scheme.
And this second card has a similar colour scheme with the yellow and green but Fiona has added some red to really set it off.
Debbie Moore decorated this tin as a Mothers Day gift and we’re sure you will agree that it is simply stunning.
The attention to detail, including the text and the 3D decoupaged butterfly is fabulous.
Debbie has finished the tin off with ribbon, flowers and another butterfly.
Tracey Grundy has created these two gorgeous ‘Interlocked Cards’.
The first card has been made with the circle template for the Interlocking A6 Card and finished off with a handmade flower.
This second card has been made with the rectangle template for the Interlocking A6 Card. A handmade butterfly has been added to the rectangle to finish off the card.
If you would like to see how to make the Interlocking Cards then don’t miss our ‘Interlocking Cards Tutorial’ tomorrow where there will be step-by-step instructions and photographs, along with the free downloadable templates to make these fabulous Mothers Day Cards.
We would love to see your examples of cards so if you would like to share your creations and be featured on this blog then email your photographs to: submissions@papercraftjunkies.com
